Tzortzis Tatavlalis presents at Apothiki his solo exhibition titled “Food for Thought”, containing unique collage creations, from July 14 – 21.
Tzortzis Tatavlalis was born in Thessaloniki. He has dealt with various forms of art; fashion design, folklore signs, restoration, cooking and lately collage. Sometimes he banters saying: “I can spend days cutting pieces of paper”.
Τhe themes of his collage artworks is whatever makes him laugh. But the most important thing is that through his collage artworks he manages to marry all the forms of art we previously mentioned.
His favorite material is advertising brochures from food delivery. His mood is intrusive. And while it started to just “spend time”, the response he received and the acceptance of the world, encouraged him to continue in a most demanding and professional rhythm.
He has exhibited in Thessaloniki, Athens, Limnos, Crete, Mykonos, Berlin and Paris mostly solo exhibitions.
The opening reception of his exhibition will take place on July 14th, 19:30.
