The Limnos Photographic Club organizes its 7th exhibition at Apothiki, titled "26 Approaches to the Portrait".
Sixty five photographs will be on the walls of Apothiki, from Apostolos Papamalis, Giannis Pinakos, Giorgos Karachalios, Giorgos Kontelis, Dimitris Boulotis, Eleni Koloni, Eleutheria Politaki, Theodoros Baveas, Ioannis Galiouris, Kik Dimari, Konstantinos Manolis, Manos Sparis, Maria Katsanevaki, Marousa Kiourani, Menelaos Hiotellis, Nikos Boyatzoglou, Pantelis Pravlis, Paraskevi Alogara, Petros Sarikakis, Savvas Palaiologos, Sofia Porri, Stella Hatzidimitriou, Stratis Liadellis, Fotini Midelia, Fotini Stefanidaki, and Xaris Drakopoulos.
All of the photographers, members of the Club, use as a common theme the portrait, but all with a different approach and different results. Some use only the face focusing on expressions, while others the entire body to explore the human posture, either from a street photograph or a studio one, and with different approaches to light.
During this exhibition, concurrent events will take place. On Sunday 19/2, professor Makis Kallianis of the Musical Workshop Shape in Moudros will play the piano, accompanying a tour at the exhibition.
